  1. Really a good chicken salad. 1st time made as recipe but then I had another chicken salad at a tea room, very close to this except had curry powder and grapes in it. So made this 2nd time without the pickle relish and eggs but added halved red grapes and some curry powder. It was so good that way also. My daughter said she had a curry chicken salad and it had cashews in it for crunch, going to add those next time I make this. It is good to have around for just a light snack in the afternoon with crackers even.

  2. This is definately going to be my staple recipe for chicken salad!! My kids loved this!!! I think next time I will try adding a chopped apple or some grapes. Thanks for a great recipe!!

  3. we liked this, I couldn't taste the lemon pepper so I added a lot more than called for. I also added dill it was to sweet due to the relish. Thanks for you help we will make again. Made again but adjusted the recipe for 3 people since I wanted to use 2cups chicken, did 2 instead of 3tbs relish and 3/4 tsp lemon juice and just guessed on crushed pepper since I was out of lemon pepper it was perfect! Thanks!

  4. This was great. I added poppy seeds because I tried a chicken salad a long time ago that had them added. My daughter also loved it.

  5. I loved this chicken salad and very quick to make. I used shallots and liked the taste better than white onions.

Tweaks

  1. Great tasting chicken salad. I boiled a pound of chicken tenders in chicken broth, cooled and then diced for the recipe!

  2. This makes a really excellent chicken salad. My husband and I really enjoyed having this for lunch today. We subbed grapes cut in half for the hard-boild eggs and left out the onions and it was fantastic.

  3. Great chicken salad! I really liked the lemon pepper seasoning; don't skip it! I opted to use the mayonnaise instead of Miracle Whip. Thanx for a wonderful chicken salad.

  4. Thanks for the great recipe! I used hot and sweet pickle relish and replaced the lemon pepper with grill seasoning. I left out the eggs, though I think they would only improve the mixture. Thanks again!

  5. YUMMY! I made this this morning with leftover chicken. I used the seasoning salt and fresh gound black pepper in place of the lemon pepper, as I did not have any on hand, doubled the recipe and upped the mayo by a few tablespoons, I'll be serving this on my homemade buns tonight. Thanks for sharing Sue!...Kitten:)
