These are as close to my recipe as I could find, was at my grandsons house and he asked me for my "from scratch" pancakes. These ware amazing and definitely not too thick and the texture was perfect. (This from a 5 yr old with Autistic child with ADHD) He loved them as did i, i had male syrup with mine. Next time I'll add cinnamon and tiny bits of apple to see if I like. If you usually use pancake mix this will seem thick but don't add more liquid or it won't give you the same light fluffy texture and they will make you feel stuffed.

I was craving some pancakes for breakfast and I decided to try this recipe. I added some vanilla to the mix but changed nothing else. These made some wonderful fluffy and filling pancakes. I brushed on some melted butter onto mine and sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar. It was so delicious with my hot chocolate. Great basic pancake recipe.

Cooking is my passion, and I am slowly, but surely beginning to venture into the world of baking. To me, cooking is so much easier because baking is so much more exact.
I love to make Italian and Mexican food the best, followed by Chinese and last, but by far the least, good old American food! How can you beat chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy?? I love to find several recipes and put my own spin on them and create a new recipe.
