- 1 1⁄2 lbs pork
- 3⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 -2 tablespoon chili pepper flakes
directions
- Mix everything together, put into crockpot on low for 8 hours. Serve with rice.

This recipe did not specify what kind of pork or how it should be cut so I chose a pork loin that I thinly sliced like I do when I stir fry Korean BBQ. I should have known better. After 8 hours the pork was dry and crumbled into small pieces. The flavor itself was very good, however the 1 TB of pepper flakes was still a little too spicy for us and we don't mind a little heat. Will probably keep the pork loin whole and only use 1/2 TB of pepper flakes next time I try this.
