  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a medium bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar, add pumpkin, egg and vanilla.
  • Add 1 cup chocolate chips.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes (watch them and take them out when they are light brown in color).

  1. Good cookies but please review recipe. It never says how to combine the wet and dry ingredients nor does it have chocolate chips in the list of ingredients. Odd.
     
  2. We really liked these. I added in chocolate chips and think raisins and even a drop of molasses would be killer. I added in an extra T. of flour (high altitude) and bake time was more like 17 minutes. They were firm on the outside and soft in the bite.

  3. I was a little dubious about this recipe after I got it mixed but the cookies were fantastic. I would recomment this to anyone who likes a soft cookie. It was a very soft dough which I found difficult to drop by the spoon but it was worth the effort.

I am a stay at home mom with 3 boys.I love to cook and bake and my youngest son who is 3 years old loves to help me.....I find whenever he does help out he is more willing to eat what we make so that is always a plus! I love to cook for my family when I have the time, it is a great way to get everyone together!
