Yummy Creamed Corn
"I found this recipe ages ago, apparently it's the same creamed corn they make at the Brookville Hotel. It's gorgeous, anyway."

ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 lbs frozen corn
- 3⁄4 cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 2 -3 teaspoons cornstarch
directions
- Put the corn in a pan, add the salt, sugar and half the cream and bring to a boil.
- Reduce to low or simmer, then thicken with cornstarch and the reserved cream.
- Heat to desired thickness, take off the heat and serve.

Made this for our Thanksgiving Meal. At first I thought there wasnt enough cream but as it cooked it was fine. If you like your corn soupy, you might add more cream but I like it per the recipe. Easy recipe and has excellent taste. -
Great flavor! I only put 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cornstarch. Prepared for the May 2009 Taste of Yellow Event. -
I cut the corn in half but kept the sauce the same because we like ours saucy. It was fabulous! Definately restaurant quality! Maybe even better! :) -
