I am a housewife with 2 children and we are a home school family! I love to cook and try out new recipes, especially kid friendly ones! My kids love to help bake cookies and scramble eggs. They argue over who gets to break the egg shells, hehehehe! I've grown up on southern cooking, taught to me by my mom's great example! She loved cooking, & collected cookbooks, she passed the love down to me. When I have the opportunity, I relax and just curl up reading cookbooks, expecially cookbooks with a story or a history. My favorite cookbooks are Little House on the Prairie, Whistle Stop Cafe, African-American Heritage, Rave, and all of my church cookbooks from the South!
