One of my favorite cookbooks is "Naomi's Home Companion: A Treasury of Favorite Recipes, Food For Thought, and Country Wit and Wisdom" (1997) I actually checked it out from the library a couple years ago.It was really interesting & fun to read. The recipes were really tasty down-home southern cooking...just like you'd expect. One recipe that stands out in my mind is for hand-dipped corndogs...They were really easy and delicious!
